Calvary Community Church

Calvary Community Church is looking forward to welcoming our new pastor! Derek Kaemingk, his wife, Jodilee, and their son, Dominic will be arriving in Yellowknife in late September. They have been leading a newly established church in Manitoba for the past few years, and are looking forward to fulfilling God's call in Yellowknife.

Calvary Community Church is associated with the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada (CBWC). Our members come from many different church backgrounds and traditions. We are a group of God-loving people who have been blessed with many talents and gifts which we use in different types of ministry and activities. We have a blended style of worship which leads to variety and depth in our worship services. Our beliefs are based and founded in the Scriptures as the inspired word of God and we favour Bible-based preaching and teaching.

Our church is situated in the beautiful city of Yellowknife, the capital of the Northwest Territories, Canada. While our primary focus is on reaching and serving our immediate community of Yellowknife and the Northwest Territories through the gospel of Jesus Christ, we are a mission-minded church, and actively support overseas missions through our prayers and finances.
